A recent study by BrightBid confirms that the majority of marketers are already using these technologies to enhance campaigns and drive better results.
As someone always on the lookout for new ways to boost performance, I was fascinated by the findings from BrightBid’s research on the current state of AI adoption. The data reveals some interesting insights into how marketers are leveraging AI tools for increased productivity and ROI:
Majority of Marketers Using AI to Drive Results
The headline stat that caught my eye was the fact that a whopping 84% of marketing leaders surveyed said they already use AI tools as part of the digital advertising strategies. Even better – 79% of those marketers reported that AI has boosted their return on investment.
With proof points like that demonstrating the revenue potential, it makes sense that 64% of respondents plan to expand their use of AI tools moving forward. Clearly more marketers are coming around to AI and want to further integrate it into their workflows.
Better Results & Greater Efficiency Among Top Benefits
But what exactly are marketers gaining from AI tools that makes the results so compelling?
The research pointed to two major benefits driving adoption – better campaign outcomes and increased efficiency. Forty percent of marketers said AI enhances performance. My guess is that AI allows for more nuanced optimization and personalization. I’ve also found AI to be an amazing productivity booster, helping teams scale efforts and get more done in less time.
So between improved conversions on the one hand and time savings on the other, it’s a win-win for marketers. No wonder leaders are racing to onboard these technologies!
Barriers to Adoption Highlight Need for More Education
Despite the overall enthusiasm around AI in marketing, BrightBid’s survey found 8% of respondents still don’t leverage these tools at all. The roadblocks mentioned include concerns over data quality, budgetary constraints, and simply not understanding how the technology works.

This highlights the need for more education so marketers at all levels can capitalize on AI’s immense potential. The learning curve may seem intimidating for some businesses just getting started. But take it from me – with a bit of knowledge sharing and training, even less tech-savvy marketers can absolutely succeed with AI.
In fact, most marketers seem to feel empowered in using AI tools – 88% reported satisfaction with the training they’ve received so far. As more brands provide educational resources, I expect the knowledge gap to close quickly.
The Future Belongs To Those Who Embrace AI
As AI tools like generative content creation take the industry by storm, I firmly believe brands that don’t jump on board will be left behind. BrightBid found 92% of leaders think AI will be crucial for future marketing success – a sentiment I completely agree with.
The research makes it clear – savvy marketers are already achieving real results from AI adoption today, and they have plans to integrate even more of these revolutionary technologies moving forward.
